Versace: Vibrant Colors, Bold Motifs, The Talk of PFW
Paris Fashion week occurred last week to close out the month of September. Designers held their runways in person with viewers either socially distanced or tuned in virtually. But there was one show that ended up being the most talked about.
Donatella Versace and Versace killed the runway with their Spring/Summer 21 collection. The brand presented a collection with a range of vibrant colors. The inspiration of under the sea featured starfish and fish motifs printed on bold green, yellow, blue, orange and pink. The silhouettes seemed to be mermaid inspired with ruffles that resemble the shapes of mermaid tails and garments that moved as if they were floating . Additionally, the runway included models of varying shapes and size which has not been the standard in the fashion industry. All in all Versace brought fun, fashion and representation to the runway serving us nothing but positive and happy energy.
