NYFW: Ulla Johnson Fall 2021
Hey Indigo Blue Stylers! New York Fashion Week has officially begun and designers are continuing to bring it via virtual shows and lookbooks. First let’s briefly acknowledge the name change to American Collections Calendar and now let’s get into the real reason you’re reading: Ulla Johnson’s Fall 2021 collection.
On Friday, February 12, Ulla Johnson debuted her collection and it screams autumn! From the color choices, to the patterns and down to the layering. It is exactly what I think of when looks to wear for fall. The collection features mainly dresses and coats with billowing and puffy sleeves, tasteful ruffles, intricately detailed patterns and some are even made with beautiful knits. While you can tell the collection is boho chic, there’s something for every type of woman to look effortlessly gorgeous when she steps out of the house. The colors are rich and beautiful warm tones with pops of cool teal and purple to make you automatically stand out and compliment any skin tone.
Make sure you take a look at the full collection here.
Overall, this collection was a great way to start off the American Collections Calendar and I definitely have my notes for fall looks I want to create.
