Moschino, Marionettes, and Models
The creativity from Moschino just doesn’t stop. For Milan Fashion Week, not only did the brand send a fun collection down the runway, they did it with Marionettes as models. Throughout this COVID-19 era, we’ve seen many different ways brands have presented collections from live streaming to virtual guests to short films, but this takes the cake for creativity. The Moschino team made marionettes, clothes to fit them AND marionette guests to look like notable people in the fashion industry (like mogul Anna Wintour and Creative Director Jeremy Scott). They even went as far as creating a backstage and behinds the scenes for the marionettes. On the Moschino Instagram page you can see photo of the marionettes on the runway as well as models posed in the collection for a photoshoot.
The collection itself featured gowns and avante garde looks, because what is Moschino if not that, in a black, neutral, pink and blue color scheme. The collection really added the fun we need during this time.
