Often a Topic that most tend to avoid (therapy) There was a time when crazy was the word associated with therapy however today we are realizing that self care is the word we need to associate with therapy.
Though there are a few different types of Therapy available they all are here to serve us in the areas in which we may be struggling, so sessions and therapists will vary based on individual need. At the end of the day we all want to be the most healthy version of ourselves mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Above is a short list of reasons why therapy is necessary, and very conducive to personal growth. Again this is not a one size fits all type of topic however it our goal to start the conversation and raise awareness while diminishing the stigma.
If you are considering therapy be sure the therapist is a licensed professional who is qualified to provide service. Do not hesitate to ask for credentials etc. Please be empowered to practice self-love and self-care.
