Monday Motivation: Do Not Snooze

Alarm clock goes off its Monday morning ! The first instinct is to hit the snooze button Do NOT hit that snooze button! Get up, get dressed, get out into the world and make it happen. Whether you are headed to the corporate office or you are a business owner lets go! Before you leave the house grab a healthy breakfast to start off your day. This will only take about 10 minutes to make and if you refrained from hitting that snooze button then you have plenty of time. Did you know that what you eat in the morning can make or break your day? We suggest starting the day with a light breakfast packed full of nutrients and vitamins.   • 2 cups bananas

  • 1 cup frozen mango

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple

  • 2 cups coconut water

  • add 1 teaspoon ground flax seed

  • 1 teaspoon organic honey (for added sweetness)

Bananas have many health benefits one of which can help you with Monday morning blues. They contain high levels of tryptophan which the body converts to serotonin, a mood elevating brain neurotransmitter. Bananas also contain vitamin B6 , magnesium which helps relax muscle, helps protect your cardiovascular system against high blood pressure, and so much more !

Diced Pineapple often mentioned in rap songs are loaded with nutrients, and antioxidants.

They aid in digestion, boost immunity, and have high levels of Vitamin C which, are essential for growth, and development.

Now that you know a little about the benefits of pineapples and bananas taking that 10 minutes to make this smoothie seems more beneficial then hitting the snooze button am I right?
