Who remembers the 2000s ? When Nextel phones had no chill, and those chirps came busting right through without warning screaming “Where you at”?
As we continue our time travel into the 2000s we feel compelled to highlight some trends of that era. Lets digress for a second and note that Trends come, go, and Come back again, so some of these have definitely been seen after the 2000s. However these were the years of the bling bling, the bejeweled, the bedazzled, from Cell phone cases, jeans, scarves , etc. Other Trends included Bandannas, Side bangs, DIY T- Shirts, The velour track suit oh and let’s not forget those cropped pirate & cargo pants. Here are some of the looks we think revolutionized the 2000s
Beyonce is stunning wearing the DIY t-shirt trend. House scissors everywhere were busy cutting t-shirts, some of us even became good enough to make our friends cut up shirts.
The late RnB singing sensation Aaliyah wearing the piecey bang trend. This look has us all calling up our hair stylist for the Aaliyah look.
Lil Kim wearing the cropped cargo trend. If you didn't have a pair of cropped pirate pants you were living under a rock. This trend was huge!
Ciara wearing the Cargo pants trend. These are arguably a trend that continues to circle around. If you own a similar pair we would suggest keeping them in your wardrobe.
Stay tuned we have some more Trends from the 2000s coming this week. Let us know what what was your favorite trend from 2000s.
