Paco Rabanne is a Spanish Fashion Designer. Paco studied architecture from 1952 to 1964. He got his start in the fashion industry designing jewelry for Dior, Givenchy, and Balenciaga. He founded his own fashion house in 1966.

Paco is known for his confrontational stance on designing, he challenges the ultimate purpose of clothing. He uses unconventional material including hammered metal , rhodoid plastic, stitched or knitted pieces of fur, leather woven into links. He believes that innovation is born of refusal and rejection. Paco always considered shock value over attractiveness.

The Paco Rabanne house is still around today and the rebellious nature of Paco`s vision is very much visible in the new collections. The newly appointed Creative Director is Julien Dossena who incorporated the past ideologies into the Pre-Fall 2019 collection. The house also launched a very successful fragrance line. Take a look at some photos from the new Pre-fall collection. Be sure to leave us your thoughts and comments.
