New York Fashion Week’s spring 2023 season has gone and we are left with top trends to introduce into our wardrobes.

Fashion week is one way of predicting fashion trends including colors, fabrics, silhouettes, patterns, styles, to take inspiration for upcoming seasons. NYFW was all about glamour and chic fabrics and pop of color. From y2k-style glamour to lingerie, fringe details, sheer fabrics to sequined gowns.

Sheer

For NYFW, sheer fabrics have been a focal point for designers this year, from loose-fitting to fitted top pieces.

Cargo Pants


Cargo pants that have gained a positive reception from every supermodel, street style star and fashion editor made its comeback on the runways. The Y2K fashion trend will definitely continue through the next year as seen on designer like Brandon Maxwell, Collina Strada, LaQuan Smith, Tibi, Dion Lee.

Fringe Detail

Fringe began popping up on the runway once again with a lot more glamor, embracing the playful detail on dresses, bodysuit, and shirts.

 Lime Green

Lime green seems to be the new top color trend for upcoming seasons, as seen on designer collections such as Michael Kors, Aliétte, Collina Strada, Sergio Hudson.

Crochet


Crochet trends embraced in skirt, tank , sweater set, combining it with fringe, as seen in designer Puppets and Puppets, Ulla Johnson, Proenza Schouler.

Lingerie

As seen on designers like LaQuan Smith, Michael kors, Lingerie trends like bra tops underneath suiting, bra tops with naked dressing becomes the upcoming season trends.

Sequin Gowns


Designers such as Christian Siriano, LaQuan Smith, opted to send at least one glitzy look down the runway, embracing in classic head-to-toe sequins.
