Kim Jones' latest fall 2023 collection for the Italian fashion house is inspired by Delfina DelettrezFendi, the jewelry designer and fourth generation heir of the Fendi family. Kim Jones explains, "It all started with Delfina. There’s a chicness but a perversity to the way she twists Fendi, which is what I love."
The collection features masculine tailoring with utilitarian deconstruction, incorporating menswear fabrics and shapes into the vocabulary of sophisticatedly feminine dressing. Other including an asymmetrical V-neck buttoned sweater paired with a structured leather skirt, pleated leather tennis skirts were styled over straight leg pants, peek-a-boo lingerie and thigh-high lace-up latex boots, closing capes on draped satin dresses that were drawn from haute note were some of the highlight from the collection.
