History of Emilio Pucci: Emilio Pucci founded his self named brand, Emilio Pucci in 1947 in Florence, Italy. Pucci became popularized once one of his designs, worn by a friend, was photographed and published in magazine Harper’s Bazaar. His designs were in high demand from manufacturers in the States, Pucci decided to leave the Air Force to further build his Fashion House. While Pucci is known for their bold geometric prints and patterns as well as his scarves and sunglasses, his first designs were Ski-wear and swimwear.
