Martens’scollection has four chapters: the first pillar is denim. There was denim jersey, knit denim, fringed denim, pair of straight-leg jeans and a pair of shorts interwoven with organza and with a sun bleached effect.
The distressed effect was probably Renzo Russo’sunique selling proposition when he launched Diesel Summer/Spring 2002 ready-to-wear collection that were highlighted on denim jackets, straight-leg jeans and minis.
Bombers, long washed cargo dress, jersey ensembles were included as utility wear as for the second chapter of the collection. As for Pop chapter spaghetti-strapped mini-dress, trench dress, black leather moto looks. At last the logo printed jersey tank top and boob tube were highlighted as an ‘Extravaganza’ pillar.
